DERMATOLOGY LAUNCH: New York City Health + Hospitals is now offering dermatology services at its Gotham Health outpatient clinics including skin screenings and treatments for eczema, acne or psoriasis, the health system said Tuesday. The new service focuses on offering skin cancer screenings to detect diseases such as melanoma, basal cell carcinoma and squamous cell carcinoma in the early stages when they are most treatable. Patients can receive dermatology services at H+H’s 30 Gotham Health locations in all five boroughs.

HOUSING HEARING: The City Council Committee on Housing and Buildings will hold a joint oversight hearing on Wednesday with the committees on finance and public housing to examine the Department of Housing Preservation and Development’s executive budget proposal, including spending on supportive housing, apartment units that come with social and health services. The hearing will take place at 10 a.m. at City Hall and will be livestreamed on the Council’s website.
