Monday, May 12 at 3 p.m.: The NYC Council’s Subcommittee on Zoning and Franchises will vote on a proposed rezoning for Central Brooklyn dubbed the Atlantic Avenue Mixed-Use Plan. More here.

Monday, May 12 at 3:15 p.m.: The NYC Council’s Land Use Committee will vote on a proposed rezoning for Central Brooklyn dubbed the Atlantic Avenue Mixed-Use Plan. More here.

Monday, May 12, 5 to 7 p.m.:The City Council’s Charter Revision Commission (CRC), known as the Commission to Strengthen Local Democracy, will hold a public hearing about potential changes to the city’s land use procedures. More here.

Tuesday, May 13, 9:30 a.m.: The Landmarks Preservation Commission will meet. More here.

Wednesday, May 14 at 10 a.m.: The NYC Council’s Committee on Housing and Buildings will hold a hearing on the mayor’s executive budget. More here.

Wednesday, May 14 at 10 a.m.: The New York City Charter Revision Commission, which is considering changes to city rules around land use and housing, will hold a public meeting. More here.

Wednesday, May 14 at 12 p.m.: The NYC Council’s Public Housing Committee will hold a hearing on the mayor’s executive budget. More here.

Wednesday, May 14 at 7:30 p.m.: Queens Community Board 8 will be hosting a public hearing and vote on the Jamaica Neighborhood Plan. More here.

Friday, May 16 at 10 a.m.: The NYC Council’s General Welfare Committee will hold a hearing on the mayor’s executive budget, including resources for the Department of Homeless Services and the Human Resources Administration. More here.

Saturday, May 17, 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.: Join Guardians of Flushing Bay and New York City Department of City Planning for a walking tour of the Flushing Creek industrial waterfront. More here.

 Sunday, May 18, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.: The Park Slope Civic Council will host its annual Sustainable House Tour. More here.

Monday, May 19, 5 to 8 p.m.: The New York City Charter Revision Commission, which is considering changes to city rules around land use and housing, will hold a public input session in Brooklyn. More here.

NYC Affordable Housing Lotteries Ending Soon: The New York City Department of Housing Preservation and Development (HPD) is closing lotteries on the following subsidized buildings over the next week.

1026 Third Avenue Apartments, Bronx, for households earning between $38,572 – $227,500

20 & 30 Halletts Point Apartments, Queens, for households earning between $111,806 – $210,000

2-21 Malt Drive Apartments, Queens, for households earning between $85,372 – $227,500

555 West 45th Street Apartments, Manhattan, for households earning between $73,749 – $140,000

Atlantic Chestnut Phase 2, Brooklyn, for households earning between $19,372 – $180,810
