Reputation Research has appointed Professor Maurizio Pimpinella to lead the selection of Italian startups and companies poised to enter and establish themselves in the American market

With extensive experience across various innovative fields, Maurizio Pimpinella is a recognized expert in business strategies, digital transformation, the digital economy, electronic payments, and financial strategies. His deep familiarity with the U.S. business context, rooted in a family of managers and entrepreneurs in America, complements his past roles. He has served as President of the Italian Digital Hub Foundation, which promotes digital transformation in businesses, head of the Association of Payment Service Providers, editor of the digital platform Arena Digitale (www.arenadigitale.it), and a coaching expert. Currently, he also coordinates the National Observatory for Innovation of Federmanager (the Federation representing industrial management).

With this appointment, Reputation Research aims to strengthen the bridge between Italian innovation and the American market by providing strategic support for the selected companies’ entry into the U.S. The selection will focus on companies with strong strategic and innovative potential, particularly in sectors like fintech, digital payments, identification processes, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, e-commerce, and digital transformation. It will also consider technological and commercial profiles, such as the tourism industry and made-in-Italy products, which make Italy particularly attractive to the American market. Italy and its companies enjoy significant reputational credit in the United States, and the goal is to maximize their value in a market where there is still considerable room for penetration. “Italy boasts an extraordinary entrepreneurial fabric, rich in excellence across various sectors, composed of startups and companies with top-level know-how; however, scalability and access to international markets remain crucial challenges that we must overcome. The aim of this project is to identify the most promising entities and construct a virtuous strategic path to facilitate their entry into the United States,” declared Maurizio Pimpinella.
